Job Summary: Emergency Room Nurse Location: Nantucket. This position involves working in a busy emergency department on an island community. The role requires providing high-quality urgent and emergency care, supporting a diverse patient population, and maintaining compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Job Details:
Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating shifts, with shift times of 12 hours each.
Required Qualifications: Massachusetts registered nurse license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency nursing and familiarity with island or remote healthcare settings.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The role involves working in a community-focused hospital that serves a population of approximately 15,000 residents and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors.
