Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Location Known This dynamic role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care within a busy 65-bed Emergency Department. The position requires clinical expertise in assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education. Candidates will rotate across various shifts and provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts including day, evening, and night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The rotation frequency is low, and night shifts do not rotate.
• Required Qualifications: Certified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Must possess a valid license and have a minimum of two years of emergency nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are strongly preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves floating to the Emergency Department Observation wing (16 beds) and Adult Mental Health Unit (ED Psych OBs). Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in general Emergency Department nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education. Candidates are required to submit verification of license, resume, references, skills checklist, and submission coversheet upon application.
