Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a 65-bed Emergency Department that operates around the clock, serving a diverse patient population. The role requires delivering assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Department RN with 36 or 48 hours per week, night shifts, including every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure, AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), at least 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience, with skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be experienced in general emergency nursing skills, capable of managing a patient population of all ages, with a patient census of approximately 230 visits per day. Willingness to float to the ED Observation wing (16 beds) and Acute Mental Health Unit (AMU) is required.
