Job Summary: Emergency Room Nurse in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, working 12-hour night shifts. The role requires a dedicated professional with substantial ER experience and a proven track record of previous travel assignments within the healthcare field.
Job Details:
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. 7 a.m.), with possible rotation to weekends and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), minimum 3 years of ER nurse experience, 1 previous completed travel contract.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Point of Care Testing.
Experience: 3 or more years of ER RN experience required; previous travel experience preferred.
Certifications: WI RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours per week, starting from 08/10/2026 for an initial 13-week contract period.
Additional Information: The role includes working in a facility with 10 inpatient beds and 8 emergency department bays, with a patient ratio of 1:4-6. The facility operates under an integrated care model, emphasizing team-based patient care. Candidates must be flexible to float to other facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed, including helping hands, to optimize staffing levels.
