Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in HONOKAA, Hawaii. This role involves providing urgent care services in a dynamic ER setting, requiring strong clinical skills, independent work capability, and adherence to safety protocols. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and follows a rotating shift schedule.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, scheduled for a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: More than 2 years of ER experience, proficient IV skills, familiar with Stroke, STEMI, and Trauma activations. Understanding of core measures and National Patient Safety Goals is essential. Candidates should possess current certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, NIHSS (Mandatory), and additional requested certifications such as NCI and Procedural Sedation (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications: NRP Certification is preferred.
Floating: Floating to other units or departments may be required, based on clinical abilities and determined by nursing administration.
Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday prior to the start date to attend an employee health appointment scheduled for the following day. Acceptance of the assigned start date is contingent on this requirement.
