Job Summary: The Emergency Room (ER) nursing position is located in an organization seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality emergency care. This role involves working night shifts and requires flexibility to meet staffing needs on a 12-hour schedule. The position is ideal for candidates with prior travel experience and a minimum of two years of ER experience.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Tennessee (TN) or multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license, a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, and prior travel nursing experience. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system is strongly preferred.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/05, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26. No time off is approved from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live. Candidates must be flexible to meet the staffing needs of the unit, work weekends and holidays, and wear navy scrubs. The unit has 270 beds with a 44-bed emergency department focusing on patients across all age ranges with the general population.
