Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available in Miles City, Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, provide health teaching and counseling, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver supportive and restorative therapies. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing. - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. - BLS (American Heart Association) certification. - 1-year minimum experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree of Nursing is preferred. - ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for the emergency unit. - Previous experience in an emergency room setting.
• Additional Information:
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs.
  • May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
  • Performs health assessment, documentation, and monitoring of therapy and treatment plans.
  • Uses resources effectively and collaborates with the healthcare team to promote quality patient outcomes.
