Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Lewiston, Maine. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy Level 2 trauma center with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. The role requires a dedicated nursing professional capable of managing a wide range of emergency situations within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Lewiston, ME
- Schedule: Nights, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certification, TNCC (Required), CPI preferred, 2 years of relevant experience, and ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage ventilated patients
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in non-trauma emergency departments, familiarity with managing a broad range of diagnosis and treatments
- Additional Information: This Level 2 trauma center features 4 critical care bays, tele-neurology services in cooperation with recognized hospitals, and utilizes electronic health records including EPIC and SBAR. The unit serves patients from pediatrics to geriatrics and is equipped with ultrasound, bladder scanners, and neuro telemedicine devices. No PICU is available; transfers are out.
