Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in an acute care facilitylocated within the United States. This position involves managing diverse patient populations in a fast-paced emergency environment, providing critical nursing care, and supporting complex medical procedures.
Job Details
Certifications required: Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Nurse Certified with Advanced Physical Skills Training course, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and ACLS.
Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN highly desired.
Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in emergency room settings.
Schedule: Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The emergency department is a high-volume environment that treats a wide range of patients, including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and trauma cases. The ER nurses manage critical skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. They coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure safety, quality, and positive patient experiences.
