Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a community setting within a healthcare organization. This position involves providing high-quality, coordinated nursing care to patients in the emergency department, ensuring safety and compliance with established standards while supervising and guiding clinical staff. The role supports patient recovery and comfort through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
Job Details:
Schedule: Variable shifts from 12:00 PM to 00:30 AM or 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required.
Additional Information: The nurse will collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment findings, develop care plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in discharge planning, delegate tasks, and provide education to patients and families, ensuring safe, healing environments.
