Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Des Moines, Iowa. This position involves providing critical care to patients in a busy emergency department setting. The role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
Job Details:
Shift Schedule: Days shift, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with every other shift rotation and every other holiday.
Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; valid state licensure; location in the United States; and a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) certifications.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The position involves working in a high-volume emergency department, providing rapid assessment and intervention to patients with diverse medical needs. Flexibility and strong critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role.
