Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Baltimore, MD. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 1 trauma center within an academic hospital setting. The ER Nurse will manage a fast-paced environment, triaging trauma and acute care patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver critical services.

Job Details

• Certifications: RN License; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Education: Valid RN license with at least 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma center or academic hospital setting
• Location Requirements: Must have previous employment history with any Johns Hopkins facilities if applying as a traveler and must be gone for 1 full year before applying if previously employed in any capacity within the Johns Hopkins health system
• Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required, with 2 years of ED experience preferred
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 with completion by 01/09/2027
• Responsibilities include triage to Trauma and Rapid Assessment areas, managing complex patient cases, and providing patient teaching and critical thinking support in a highly varied clinical environment
• Additional Information: Candidates must have current Epic experience and preference is given to those with ATCN or TNCC certifications
• Submission Requirements: All applicants must verify prior employment with Johns Hopkins facilities if applicable, prior to selection
