Job Summary: Emergency Room Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment, including patient assessment, administering treatments, and patient education. The position requires a focused, compassionate approach to patient care in the emergency setting.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting, with at least 1 year of critical care nursing experience. Experience must include direct patient care in an emergency environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as charge nurse or preceptor roles, ability to work independently in a high-pressure setting.
Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
