Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Little Rock, Arkansas. This position involves providing high-quality care in a Level I trauma emergency department with a total of 51 beds, including main ED, ACE spaces, hallway spaces, and a CDU. The RN will support patient care during night shifts, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards in a teaching hospital environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an emergency room setting, Level II trauma experience, prior travel nursing experience, visibility in teaching hospital environments, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), and CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification.
  • Additional Information: The RN will work a three to four patient-to-nurse ratio, with adjustments for ICU care; weekend shifts are required every third weekend. The department occasionally manages ECMO procedures, art lines, Phillips monitors, and ventilators managed by RT (Respiratory Therapy) staff.
