Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse for a healthcare facility in the region. This position involves providing comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Candidates will work rotating days and mid shifts, with scheduling based on departmental needs.
Job Details
Required Qualifications: RN license in MD state or a valid Compact license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certification (completed during onboarding), 2 years of experience, experience with patient ratios of 4 or more, proficiency with Epic charting system, and previous ER experience.
Schedule: Shift times are 7:00 am 7:30 pm or 11:00 am 11:30 pm, accepting 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Must be comfortable floating within the specialty and sister ER facilities (including Cambridge, Chestertown, Queenstown) as needed. The position requires working every other weekend, holiday shifts as scheduled, and participating in pre-scheduled on-call shifts is not required. Candidates should handle all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, in a busy, diverse patient care environment with approximately 90 visits per day and 36 beds.
