The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Job Details
Position Description: ER RN Nights - 36 hours/week; scheduled 3x12-hour night shifts (19:30-08:00); contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact state, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI, TNCC certifications; 3 years of emergency nursing experience; travel experience required but will consider first-time travelers with 5+ years experience; charting system experience in EPIC.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role supports a patient census of approximately 140 per day, including all age ranges with diagnoses such as chest pain, stroke, sepsis, trauma, respiratory illnesses, and cardiac arrest. The nurse will work with specialized equipment including Belmont in trauma, Giraffe warmer for neonates, Rapid infuser, and Lucas device for cardiac arrests. Floating within the ER scope is required as needed. Weekend work every other week and holiday coverage are scheduled as per unit needs.
Submittals: Candidates must be prepared to submit compliance documents within 5 days prior to start, with onboarding labs within 72 hours of signing, and complete all required modules.
