Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in southeastern Washingtonserving the Tri-Cities areaincluding Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland. This role involves providing immediate care in a fast-paced emergency department environment within a 25-bed facility. The position offers an opportunity to work in a community-oriented hospital with a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric cases.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Begins on 10/12/2026 and concludes on 01/11/2027.
Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). A minimum of 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience and the ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a level III or higher trauma center preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
Additional Information: The ER handles a mixed patient population, including all age groups. The unit maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 and utilizes the electronic health record system Paragon. No call requirements.
