Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location: unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care within a Level II trauma center experiencing a large patient volume. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex cases across diverse patient populations during night shifts.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Education/Experience: Minimum of 2.5 years experience in a large Level II trauma center with over 90,000 annual ER visits; at least 2 years of recent charge experience; 2.0 years of ER experience required.
• Location Requirements: Must hold CA license; local candidates accepted at the lower billing rate.
• Schedule: Nights, 3 shifts of 12 hours per week, starting on 10/26/2026 through 01/25/2027, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration, procedural sedation, neurotrauma, stroke care, trauma management, pediatric ED care, and utilization of EPIC electronic charting system.
• Responsibilities also include interpreting ABGs and dysrhythmias, maintaining isolation precautions, and managing invasive lines and monitors.
• Additional job requirements include documentation system proficiency, compliance with certifications, and readiness to float within the hospital based on census.
