Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a compact or IA RN license and current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00 with every other weekend/every other holiday rotation
• 6-month contract assignment spanning 26 weeks

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course/ENPC also accepted)
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• License and certification verification must be dated within 30 days of start, including Nursys verification for RN licensure

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients across a range of acuities
• Must reside within a 90-mile radius of the facility for the travel pay rate
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis per the every other weekend/every other holiday schedule
• Documentation required for consideration includes references, licensure verification, Nursys report, and COVID vaccination card
