Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an IA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital environment
• Shift schedule from 06:30 to 19:00
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• 26-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (IA or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred
• Current BLS, PALS/ENPC, and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required for direct patient care

• Provide emergency nursing care within a hospital emergency department setting
