Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in an acute care hospital setting specializing in Emergency Department care. This position involves providing safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice, and coordinating patient and family education alongside other nursing personnel. The role emphasizes rapid response to changing patient conditions and effective communication with physicians.

Job Details

• Position Description: ER Nurse responsible for delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department, managing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct care, guides patient and family teaching, and supervises other nursing staff while maintaining standards of care. Communicates changes in patient condition to physicians, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results. Ensures patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Required Qualifications: Current and valid state RN license, BLS, ACLS, at least one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital or critical care setting, and the ability to interpret strips and titrate drips.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be OPEN to float requirements between ICU and Telemetry units, and are preferred to have COVID vaccination/boosters. Experience in critical care, with CCRN certification preferred, is advantageous for this assignment.
