Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a community hospital setting. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The position requires a skilled professional capable of managing a broad spectrum of urgent and critical conditions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications, 2+ years of ER experience, experience with Epic charting system.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience of 4, community hospital experience, trauma level II experience.
Responsibilities include management of acute conditions such as respiratory infections, trauma, strokes, cardiac emergencies, and behavioral health crises. Proficiency in arterial line management, ventilator care, invasive procedures, and interpretation of diagnostic data is essential.
Additional Information: Experience handling diversified emergency cases, including burns, neuro-trauma, mental health, and multisystem organ failure, is highly valued. Candidates must have current certifications with valid expiration dates and uploaded verifications as per submission requirements.
