Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Castro Valley, California. This pivotal role involves providing high-quality emergency care within a Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center. The position requires rendering immediate assistance to patients presenting with various acute conditions, ensuring comprehensive patient care and safety.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shift hours.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license (uploaded within the last 2 weeks via Nursys), certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), at least 2 years of emergency nursing experience, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience, and travel experience.
  • Additional Information: Must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start date. Candidates are required to have accurate 7-year work history verification. Modules are completed through e-learning during orientation, averaging 1-5 hours, with any additional hours potentially billable.
