Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Devils Lake, North Dakota. This 13-week assignment involves providing direct nursing care in a high-acuity emergency department setting. The role requires maintaining up-to-date skills to deliver safe, patient-centered care across diverse patient populations, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patient education and discharge planning.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Rotating shifts with hours totaling 12 per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license from the North Dakota Board of Nursing or a Compact State Agreement, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association, and no minimum years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Additional Information: The RN will perform daily patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, respond to emergency situations, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in discharge planning and patient education activities. The assignment begins on 08/03/2026, and candidates should be prepared to work various rotating shifts, including nights and days, to meet department needs.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
