Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Lynchburg, Virginia. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 1 trauma environment. The assignment focuses on night shifts and requires prior travel experience for all Centra positions. The stay is scheduled for 8 weeks, with rotations occurring every other Monday. The role necessitates active state licensure and specific certifications.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar-sized ED with trauma level 2 or 1; active Virginia or Compact license at the time of submission; certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC; prior Cerner experience is strongly preferred; all required RTO documentation must be submitted with application; travel required; assignment duration of 8 weeks; assignment ends on Saturday; must work every other weekend; locals within 60 miles are not accepted; IVS to manager for approval; client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to the start of each shift due to census fluctuations.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Certification (ATCN, TNCC, ATLC)
  • Additional Information: This role is located at a designated emergency care facility in Lynchburg, VA. No float rotation is required. All required documentation must be completed prior to start.
