Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Norwich, New York. This role involves providing compassionate, efficient care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards, and promoting a patient-centered environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing; current New York State Registered Nurse License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications; at least 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
- Required Skills & Experience: Collaboration, communication (verbal & written), judgment/critical thinking, organizational understanding, planning (organizing, time management), problem solving, quality, reliability, safety and risk management.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform duties related to the Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned and may assume additional responsibilities as needed. The clinical environment emphasizes integration of evidence-based practice and support for professional development.
