Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Location unspecified. This position involves providing emergency medical care in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting. The role encompasses working with a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics, across various departments including hospital, emergency department, outpatient nursing, and post-anesthesia care unit, utilizing electronic medical records and various medical equipment.

Job Details

• Position Description: General medical care, skilled nursing, emergency department services, outpatient care, swing bed, and specialized procedures based on patient needs in a 25-bed critical access hospital.
• Required Qualifications: RN skills, MN RN license, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications, a minimum of 3 years of experience, and availability to start on 12/21/2026 with an end date of 03/22/2027.
• Schedule: Rotating days and nights shifts, with at least every third weekend coverage, minimum hours per week are 36.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within similar acute care or emergency department settings, familiarity with Epic/One Chart EMR systems, and experience supporting multiple hospital departments including PACU and ED.
• Additional Information: Staff will be paired with other RNs for orientation and routine operations. EMR training can be completed on-site, and the staff will float across units including hospital and outpatient nursing. No call requirements are associated with this position, and the minimum staffing includes 2 RNs at night and 3-4 RNs during day/evening shifts, supported by nursing assistants from 0500-2130.
