Job Summary: Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Palm Springs, California. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering direct clinical care to patients in an emergency department setting. The RN will supervise staff, support the facility's Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality and safe patient care, and manage resource allocation effectively.
Job Details:
Shift: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: California state Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, at least 1 year of clinical experience in emergency nursing, current BLS and ACLS certifications, CPR certification, authorized to work in the United States, no minimum experience requirement indicated
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital emergency department, familiarity with electronic health records, additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC considered a plus
Additional Information: The Emergency Department has 29 beds and is equipped with patient monitors; staffing ratio is 1:4. Scrubs of any solid color are acceptable. Employees are responsible for clocking in and out. Parking is available in the employee lot. The facility is located within a hospital and requires employees to check into the front lobby and speak with HR for onboarding.
