Job Summary: Emergency Room Nurse Hamilton, New York. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care on a 12-hour night shift schedule. The ER nurse will handle a variety of patient diagnoses, working within a 10-bed unit to deliver critical care with a patient ratio of 5:1. The role demands a committed healthcare professional ready to start as soon as possible.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS. Preferred certifications include TNCC and ENPC. No minimum years of experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: TNCC and ENPC certifications.
Additional Information: The facility utilizes the Sorian electronic medical record system. Common patient diagnoses include congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, syncope, non-ST elevation myocardial infarction, diabetic ketoacidosis, wound issues, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, lumbar surgery, general surgery, and COVID-19. The population served is primarily rural, covering 27 communities throughout the region.
