Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) WATERTOWN, NY. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for managing critical situations, assessing patient needs, and delivering comprehensive treatment aligned with hospital policies and protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, nights shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, for a duration of 13 weeks
- Required Qualifications: NY State RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), MEDITECH experience, travel experience, graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, and ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations. Critical care and charge nurse experience are preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care and charge experience, strong leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Additional Information: Must be able to function effectively in stressful situations, adhere to safety protocols, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Certification in IV therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy is required during orientation. Successful completion of a lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and defibrillation certification within six months of employment may be required. The ability to assume duties as a charge nurse may be expected.
