Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Saratoga Springs, NY. This position involves providing critical care in the emergency department during night shifts. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and adhering to organizational protocols and standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: NY State Nursing License, 5 years of experience in emergency care, previous travel experience is preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), experience with EKG testing, pass an visual rhythm recognition exam with at least 85% accuracy on orientation day
- Additional Information: All critical area nurses must pass the EKG testing on the first day of orientation; scores below 80% will result in contract cancellation. Study materials and information will be emailed directly to candidates before they start. Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not accepted.
