Job Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Some pediatric ED experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• NIHSS and TNCC required
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Ability to provide a complete resume, skills checklist, and required documentation at submission
• Must be comfortable floating as needed
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Support care across multiple patient age groups, from newborns through geriatrics
• Administer and monitor complex drips and medications as ordered
• Operate emergency equipment and support rapid-response interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to stabilize and treat critically ill patients
• Float as assigned and contribute to overall unit coverage and patient flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit-specific protocols and safety standards
