Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position is located in a healthcare facility environment. This role involves providing acute patient care within the emergency setting, requiring effective clinical skills and swift decision-making to stabilize and treat patients. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a commitment of at least 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
One year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent clinical experience in a healthcare setting
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
NIH Stroke Scale Certificate
