Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) RN Location not specified. This role involves providing exceptional care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ER RN will manage a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, and will be responsible for handling critical care cases such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, and cardiac arrest.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evenings shift from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current NY license, active AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications, and experience with EPIC electronic medical record system. Must have at least 2 years of experience in emergency department settings, including some pediatric experience, along with documented travel experience. Travel experience is required; relocation or travel must meet the specified criteria.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge capability experience is highly preferred.
• Responsibilities: Managing patients with diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Use of specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Preparation and administration of required drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedatives, TNK, heparin, and insulin.
• Additional Information: Floating to different units may be required. Scrub color is navy blue. Unit size includes 64 beds, with triage, acute care, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit, and psychiatric beds.
