Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington.

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse - Seattle, WA. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy trauma level facility. The role requires working night shifts and being adaptable across multiple campuses within the healthcare organization to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid compact state license, at least 1 year of emergency room experience, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). No first-time travelers accepted.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, charting experience with Epic, trauma level I or II experience, community hospital or LTAC experience, and some travel experience.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to different campuses within the organization.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must be open to working every other weekend and working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
    • Must include responses to specific pre-submission questions regarding prior employment at any Providence facility and provide two recent references covering at least one year.
    • Candidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced emergency environment managing adult and pediatric patients, including dealing with airway management, trauma procedures, and critical care interventions.
    • Shift start times may vary, with posted shifts beginning at 0700, 0900, 1200, 1500, or 1900.
