Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Middlebury, Vermont. This assignment entails providing high-quality patient care in a busy emergency department setting. The position is scheduled for an initial duration of 16 to 26 weeks, with a focus on experienced nursing professionals capable of handling a fast-paced environment while adhering to facility protocols and safety standards.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); previous travel nursing experience (at least 1 assignment), 2 years of in-unit ER experience, recent Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years
Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, flexibility with holiday staffing, reliable transportation with all-season or snow tires during November through April
Additional Information:
Assignment duration: 16-26 weeks
Travel is required for distances of 101 miles or more, with tiered rates based on direct line measurement
No floating required
Must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day, with schedule adjustments as needed
All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
Complete employment history, including bed count, EMR, and facility type, is required for submission
Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
This position involves working seven days a week, with no block scheduling
