Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Concord, CA. This position involves providing exceptional emergency care in a busy community hospital with a patient population of over 350 beds. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care within a trauma level II environment, utilizing their clinical expertise to meet diverse patient needs.
Job Details
Position Description: ER RN in a non-teaching community hospital. The role involves managing a patient census of over 350 beds, seeing approximately 45,000 patients annually, with some trauma experience preferred. The unit operates as a Level II trauma center.
Certifications & Education Requirements: BLS and ACLS certifications are required. CA licensure status must be provided upon submission.
Schedule: Rotating Day/Night shifts (E/N) with 12-hour shift hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/03/2026 and ending on 01/31/2027. Typically, the schedule includes every other weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications: ER RN experience, strong EPIC electronic medical record experience, fully comfortable with shift requirements, and no active per diem positions.
Additional Information: Candidates must have some trauma experience and be able to work within patient ratios mandated by the state of California. The role requires floating within scope of skill as needed based on patient care demands.
