Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Portland, Oregon. This position involves providing critical care in a fast-paced, short-term acute care facility with a focus on trauma and teaching emergency services. Experience in trauma or teaching emergency departments is required to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC; minimum of 1 year of recent ER experience, including trauma or teaching emergency department experience; current license to practice in Oregon; at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic charting system, arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line care, and proficiency in airway management.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Floating between units and facilities in the area may be required, with potential incentives for floating to certain facilities. Candidates should be flexible to work holidays and adhere to specific scheduling requests made during submittal. No call-in procedures unless specified, and module completion during orientation is required.
