Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Kansas City, MO. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced emergency department with 38 beds. The role requires delivering patient-centered care while managing multiple procedures and equipment in a dynamic environment.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC). Valid licensure and experience in emergency nursing preferred.
Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, de-escalation skills, and CPI certification is preferred. Experience in Patient-focused care, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude are highly valued.
Responsibilities include managing patient flow, performing procedures such as port placement and chest tubes, and utilizing advanced monitoring equipment like Ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, Art Lines, Belmont, and Chest Tubes.
The unit operates with a team of 7 day/night RNs, and candidates should be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with rotating weekend and holiday shifts.
