Position: Endoscopy Technician $$SN$$
Location: Paducah, Kentucky
Shift: Days – 5x8s (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Duties
• Set up endoscopy procedures by preparing appropriate equipment and supplies based on the scheduled procedure.
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, including patient preparation and monitor setup.
• Clean, disinfect, and perform routine maintenance on endoscopy scopes and equipment.
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory within the Endoscopy Suite.
• Support efficient room turnover by assisting with room preparation and post-procedure cleaning.
• Ensure proper scope processing and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Respond appropriately during emergency situations and maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Report malfunctioning equipment and coordinate repairs or shipping of scopes as needed.
• Float to other departments or units as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
