Job Summary Endoscopy Lab Specialist The organization is seeking a qualified Endoscopy Lab professional for a temporary assignment in the healthcare provider setting. This role involves providing specialized endoscopic procedures and supporting clinical operations within an advanced procedural environment.
Job Details
Position Description: 8 weeks, 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with varying days off based on departmental needs. On-call shifts are required during weeknights, weekends, and holidays, averaging approximately 4-6 shifts per month.
Required Qualifications: NY state license, 1 year of relevant experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and proficiency in skills including administering conscious sedation, airway management, bronchoscopy, ERCP, and IV placement.
Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: Candidate must be capable of floating to PreAn/PACU if needed, with experience in procedural-based diagnoses such as pancreatic, lung, colon, and gastric cancers, polyps, Barretts esophagus, CBD stones/strictures/CA, and utilizing specialized equipment including ERBE, Olympus scopes, Bravo, VCE, and Manometry.
Submittal Requirements: NY license in hand, one year of experience, EPIC charting experience, and confirmed competency in phlebotomy and IV placement.
