Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Lab Nurse position is based in a healthcare facility located in Fort Myers, Florida. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within an endoscopy laboratory setting, adhering to hospital protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position offers a daytime schedule with a floating day off, requiring flexibility for call duties including weekends.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour days with a floating day off, Monday through Friday, plus call. Call includes weekends, with a requirement to be within 30 minutes from the hospital during on-call periods.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2 years of experience in Endoscopy Nursing; prior travel experience; current RN license; graduation degree accreditation must be verified on profile; EMR experience with Epic; residency within 50 miles of the facility; all demographic information including address, email, date of birth, social security number, and RN license number loaded at the time of submission.
- Additional Information: Candidates must load all demographic information at the time of submission; all required documentation must be submitted by the Monday prior to the start date to avoid delays. Travelers should be prepared to float to other campuses if required. The facility emphasizes team integration and culture fit, welcoming travelers as core staff.
