Job Details
Position Description: Provides nursing care in an endoscopy setting, practicing independently while demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. Engages in routine and complex care, including long-range planning, with a focus on managing clinical contingencies. Makes appropriate assignments and delegations to team members to support clinical efficiency.
Required Qualifications: RN License in the state of employment or a compact license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), and at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
Schedule: 5 days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients according to nursing standards, administering medications using appropriate protocols, documenting patient history and treatment, and providing education to patients and families.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS through the AHA are required.
Start Date: November 9, 2026
End Date: February 8, 2027
Additionally: Floating to other departments within Surgical Services may be required.
