Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN for an ambulatory endoscopy center role requiring a PA or compact RN license and prior specialty experience.

Details

• Ambulatory endoscopy center setting
• Performs endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and EGD
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No float requirement
• No on-call requirement
• No weekend requirement
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• BSN required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of GI/endoscopy specialty experience required
• Experience starting peripheral IVs required
• Ambulatory OR experience preferred
• Colonoscopy and EGD experience preferred
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration
• Two valid professional references and copies of certifications required

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a different pay rate
• PA fingerprints required and must be completed within one week of contract signing
• Pass/fail clinical exam required for clearance, with a maximum of three attempts allowed
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
