Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Our Cardiac Observation Unit (COU) is where our patients are prepped for procedures and recovered post procedure.Our team works with high risk, high acuity patients and pride ourselves in superb outcomes. Bedside procedures such as Trans esophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversions (CV) are performed in COU.Northwest Medical CenterBill Rate: $75COU - CARDIAC OBSERVATION UNITSHIFT INFO:Varies: 3 x 12s: Days (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030)Call requirements have begun and now include Saturday and Sunday.Call is on a rotational basis, approximately once every six weeks.
