Travel EP Tech / EP Lab Tech - $2,655 per week in Boston, MA

Job Title: Technician Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 hours Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 3+ years in electrophysiology License: N/A Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Description: AM - 10hr shifts, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays. Required years of experience include 3+ years in electrophysiology. Prior experience with devices, EP studies, ablations, and PVI procedures is essential. The position involves preparing sterile equipment, catheters, sheaths, and other medical instruments. Candidates will prepare sterile sites on patients. Technical support for electrophysiologists during ablations, EP studies, cardioversions, and cardiac device implants and explants will be provided. Assist in the diagnosis of arrhythmias through the use of stimulators. Program thresholds for pacemakers from major manufacturers. Experience with programming, scrubbing in, and familiarity with specific systems is preferred.
