Description:
The Electrophysiology Tech position involves using primarily Affera PFA systems and Biosense Webster RFA.
The schedule includes working Tuesday through Friday from 07:00 to 17:30.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
This position requires certification in ACLS and BLS.
The tech will be on short-call for 4 hours once per week.
The role involves floating to meet facility needs and accommodating a block schedule if necessary.
Local candidates are accepted, and pending licenses are also considered.
The facility is a short-term acute care facility with a focus on teaching and has a Level III Trauma designation.
The Electrophysiology Tech will scrub in for invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
Duties include cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD insertions, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Good communication skills and a solid understanding of sterile techniques and cardiac anatomy are essential.
Special equipment used includes intracardiac electrogram recording and pacing systems and therapeutic ablation systems.
The daily patient census is approximately 20.
The team involves interdisciplinary support for various patient diagnoses including ablations and device implants.
Candidates must have experience with the Epic charting system and are expected to maintain accurate monitoring and baseline measurements.
Candidates must be compliant with fingerprinting requirements as per state guidelines.
