Travel EP Tech / EP Lab Tech - $2,879 per week in Tacoma, WA

Job Title: EP Technologist Profession: EP Technologist Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required, RCES, RCIS Must-Have: Experience in Electrophysiology and Cath Lab Description: Electrophysiology lab with three suites. Average of 22 cases per day, combining Cath Lab and Electrophysiology. RN required certifications include BLS and ACLS. Technologists must hold RCIS, RT, or RCES certifications. Procedures performed include ablations, atrial fibrillation, and atrial flutter. The lab is known for advanced Electrophysiology practices. Technologists will be responsible for circulating and assisting during procedures. Core staff handles the majority of documentation. Candidates must have experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery. Experience in ICU or PACU is a plus. Familiarity with the EPIC charting system is preferred. Teamwork is essential; a team player mentality is expected. Technologists are not required to scrub in. No call required, with flexibility for emergencies or weekend cases on a volunteer basis. The lab is closed on holidays. The current backlog of cases has created a need for additional hours. The team prioritizes patient care and does not turn down any cases. There is a preferred approach focusing on collaboration and assistance among team members. Cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts to be canceled during the assignment.
