Job Title: Electrophysiology Lab Tech
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30
Experience: Minimum years of experience required
License: Virginia state license required if ARRT certified; any active state license accepted
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R) with Virginia state license or CCI RCES/RCIS
Must-Have:
- EP lab experience
- EP mapping experience
- Knowledge of EKG lead placement and dysrhythmia recognition
- Familiarity with sterile techniques
- Experience with fluoroscopy and ultrasound
Description:
The Electrophysiology Lab Tech will work in an electrophysiology lab setting.
Shift hours are 4x10s from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with rotating late shifts.
There are no weekends or call requirements.
Staff may need to stay late if a case extends into the evening.
All staff members must sign up for late shifts on a rotating basis.
Charting is required using specific electronic health record systems.
All requests for time off must be included with submission.
The facility has a call-off policy allowing one shift to be called off every two weeks.
Staff members must be available to work one holiday per contract.
The facility is willing to accept first-time travelers and locals living 50-99.9 miles away.
Required clinical skills include monitoring and various electrophysiology procedures.
Knowledge of isolation precautions and equipment handling is necessary.
The candidate must have experience with cardiac procedures and technologies.
This position supports an acute care teaching environment with advanced procedures.
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias is crucial.
The role involves both room circulation and maintaining a sterile field.
The tech will be responsible for equipment setup before procedures.
This position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.
Candidates must submit compliance documentation prior to starting.
