Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an EP Lab License: Required licensure Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS Must-Have: - EP Lab clinical experience - EKG settings and experience in inpatient and outpatient environments - Proficiency with Cerner and hemodynamic monitoring Description: The Electrophysiology Technologist will conduct procedures in the EP lab. Responsibilities include cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants. Candidates should have experience with Philips and Siemens X-ray machines, and GE Micropacer. Experience with 3D mapping and peripheral devices is preferred. Skills in hemodynamic monitoring and managing ports are essential. Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and the ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias are required. The technologist will collaborate with other healthcare staff in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to patient care and safety is essential. The facility maintains a daily caseload averaging 18 patients. Candidates must comply with all facility requirements, including vaccinations. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for this role.
